Ce colombier en granit de 9 mètres de diamètre construit au 16èsiècle, se situe à l’entrée du domaine du château de Kerjean (Saint Vougay, Finistère). Jusqu’à la Révolution française, seules les familles nobles étaient autorisées à en faire construire. Une ouverture zénithale permettait le passage des oiseaux très prisés dans l'assiette du seigneur.

This loft granite 9 meters in diameter built 16èsiècle, is located at the entrance to the castle Kerjean (Saint Vougay, Brittany). Until the French Revolution, only noble families were allowed to build. An opening overhead allowed the passage of birds for the plate of the lord.
