”Three angels”

Sculputural composition "Three angels" by Boris Sergeev were installed in 2005 in memory of nearby churches destroyed after Great October Revolution of 1917. The bronze monument stands near crossroad of Pravdy street (former Cabinetnaya) and Socialisticheskaya street (former Ivanovskaya).

One of the meanings of Russian word "Pravda" is "truth", Latin word "veritas" means "truth" too, but for Russians this word was the name of Soviet Kommunist newspaper issued since 1917. Smiling woman from pre-election poster is Valentina Matvienko, Governor of Saint-Petersburg. She calls to vote for ruling party "United Russia". Date of parliament elections in Russia is December 2, 2007.
