Statue of Filippo Brunelleschi (http://www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filippo_Brunelleschi ) - by Luigi Pampaloni (http://www.it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luigi_Pampaloni ) (1791 - 1847, who also made the statue of Leonardo da Vinci in the Loggiato degli Uffizi), realizzed in 1830 to be placed here between the columns of the Palazzo dei Canonici by Gaetano Baccani (http://www.it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaetano_Baccani ). The artist was a pupil and later helper of Lorenzo Bartolini (http://www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorenzo_Bartolini ) whom he joined in Florence.
