Intérieur de la Cathédrale d'Albi (Tarn, France)
Albi cathedral is the only one in France where the whole paintings ornements are remaining. They have been painted by Italian artists at the beginning of the 16th century. Do remark the opposition between very geometrical paintings (500 years before 20th century Vasarely paintings !) and very significant frescos on the vault and of the Last Judgment, just under the great organs.
The fortress Bip (architect V. Brenna) was erected and the park Mariental was laid out on the Tyzva River in 1795-97.
