In this global economic climate we as consumers are forced to shop more intelligently.  It is a good idea these days to think selectively when making your fashion purchases. Merci, Paris’ newest concept store, is an amazing space, calm, cool and collective where clients can shop with a conscience.

Created by Marie-France and Bernard Cohen, founders of renowned children’s clothing line Bonpoint, Merci donates all of its proceeds (after breaking even) to a co-op for young women in Madagascar.  This makes buying the Alexander Wang bag even more special.

They have everything from the latest up and coming young designers to Vintage steals. I spotted some great vintage  hats and  Vintage YSL!  Amazing I say.  You can sit in the Library and have a cup of tea,  go up stairs and shop for the latest trends, or go to the mezzanine and check out the home décor.
