La Palloza de Chis, Balboa, Os ancares
"Pallozas" (meaning "straw roof") is the name of the tradicional houses in the isolated county of Ancares, in northwestern Spain. People, cattle & foods shared a single room hut, so they could survive the long winters, as they could be isolated for weeks by the intense snowfall usual in the zone.
